Contrary to most critics (and fans) expectations, I found Ben Affleck’s Batman to be a quite interesting and very complex character. Straight out of the comic book, this Batman is older and more cynical than we’ve seen in previous versions of the character. Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman was truly wonderful, but Amy Adams as Lois just didn’t seem to fit the role. Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was not quite so menacing as he was annoying.

I was happy to see Henry Cavill reprise his role as Superman and for the first time we see how alien he truly is to this world. Still a protector of Earth, he becomes all but cast out by the “civilized” world, while two very capable people, plot the demise of Superman, each in their own unique, and different ways.

The movie was an entertaining spectacle to watch, but there were some flaws.

Some would argue that the fight scene in Batman vs Superman was too long, but I disagree. It’s a fight movie and fight they did. After all, the title of the movie is Batman vs Superman. If you weren’t expecting to see a fight, why go see this movie?

I found this movie completely enjoyable and entertaining, though there were a few moments (mostly involving Superman / Lois) that were a tad boring. When Wonder Woman shows up in the end she kills it.
