Richardson pursued the idea of establishing an ideal atmosphere for creative professionals, and twenty-five years later the company has grown to become one of the premiere comic book publishers in the United States.

Founder / CEO Ross Richie started BOOM! Studios in the spare bedroom of his apartment in June of 2005.
